Burgess Associates were part of an Electrical Contractors team whom we have worked alongside for many years and on this project assisted in the negotiation and agreement of Subcontract terms and conditions which were fair to all parties involved.
As the project progressed we issued all Extension of Time Notices and have given ongoing commercial advice.
Keeping a close working relationship with our client ensured the project has been commercially managed to a successful outcome for all.

ONE OVAL SQUARE – SURREY COUNTY CRICKET CLUB – LONDON
Burgess Associates were part of an MEP Contractors team throughout the Design, Procurement and Delivery process of the scheme to Final Account Agreement.
The project involved a number of isolations and diversions to facilitate the demolition of the Laker Stand to allow the development and construction of the One Oval Square Stand.
This stand consisted of bars, toilets, hospitality, offices and new entrance areas along with roof top bar.
Working alongside incumbent specialists services that included PAVA the MEP contractor also delivered CCTV, Intruder, Fire Alarm, Photovoltaic, Data, Power, Lighting, Ventilation, Domestic Services, Above Ground Drainage and other installations.
Alongside the development of the new stand refurbishment of the existing Pavilion building was also undertaken.

WIMBLEDON FOOTBALL CLUB
Burgess Associates were part of the MEP Contractors Team who were appointed to deliver this new football stadium for Wimbledon FC. The 9300 seater stadium is on the old Greyhound Stadium site which sat next door to Plough Lane.
As part of our long term clients team we assisted in the delivery of all commercial aspects of the project from procurement, change control, Applications, issue of payment notices through to final account.
The project was delivered in a collaborative manner with our client working alongside one of their long terms clients also. Our client also enabled us to work in conjunction with their own well established supply chain ensuring fair and reasonable agreements and processes were followed.
We moved on from this project to another Stadium project as part of the same delivery team which we feel demonstrates our ability to successfully deliver projects based upon collaborative and inclusive working.
FULHAM FC – RIVERSIDE STAND
Burgess Associates were engaged by one of our long term clients who were carrying out the MEP installation at the new Fulham FC Riverside Stand. The development at Craven Cottage transformed the stadium to a modern, world class river front venue that provides much more than just football.
The site location meant many difficult conditions such as riverside location. Our client undertook the shell and core MEP services and Burgess Associates assisted with agreement of terms and conditions, procurement, change control, recovery of loss and expense and final account agreement and payment.
We continue to work with our client on other schemes.
EVERTON FC – NEW STADIUM
Bramley Moore Dock is Everton FC’s new 52,888 seater ground. The new state of the art stadium is water front and is selected to host games at the 2028 European Championships. It is a cutting edge venue that combines traditional features with contemporary architecture. The design reflects the cities maritime past.
The stadium has four stands including a steep home stand and the possibility to expand to 62,000 seats. The stadium is anticipated to boost the local economy.
Burgess Associates assisted a long term client in taking off, billing up and costing large electrical variations on this project. This was carried out in a collaborative and efficient manner allowing our client to progress their account on the project.
LIVERPOOL FC – ANFIELD ROAD
Burgess Associates were engaged by one of our long term clients who were carrying out the MEP installation at the new Liverpool FC Anfield Road Stand.
Liverpool FC’s aim was to deliver a world leading new stand with exceptional fan experience, and the flexibility to host world renowned musical acts. The MEP services included bespoke lighting systems with energy efficient controls, HV and LV distribution systems, High-Spec PAVA system, CCTV system with crowd coverage, Comfort cooling, Domestic water systems, Sprinkler system, and Access control.
Burgess Associates provided full Commercial Management and QS services on this project from procurement through to Final Account.
We continue to work with our client on other schemes.
AFC BOURNEMOUTH – TRAINING FACILITY
Burgess Associates were engaged by one of our long term clients who were carrying out the MEP installation at the new A FC Bournemouth Training Facility. The project includes 1st Team and Academy state of the art facility, groundsman building, under pitch heating and external works.
Our client delivered the full M&E package, domestic water services, above ground drainage, ventilation, energy efficient Lighting, submains, small power, Fire alarm system, Underfloor heating, Comfort cooling, and enhanced Lighting to the first team areas.
The project also included a brand new under-pitch heating system complete with a self-contained plantroom to create a flexible training facility.
Burgess Associates provided full Commercial Management and QS services on this project from procurement through to Final Account. We worked collaboratively with Principal Contractor and end client.
