Director
David has over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry and started working as a QS in 1991. He commenced his career with a national M&E Contractor in the North of England. He has experience of Energy from Waste, Power Stations, Wind Farms, Commercial, residential, Healthcare and Education projects valued up to £65,000,000.
This experience has given him a detailed and wide ranging knowledge of the industry and specific skills in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management from estimating through to final account settlements. David has worked on projects in a wide variety of locations throughout the UK.
David has experience of managing teams of surveyors and undertaking a business management role, including the Business Development and guidance of trainees through training programmes with links to Colleges and Universities.
He is a member of the RICS and has undertaken the role of RICS Supervisor successfully mentoring candidates through the APC process.

James Baldwin
Associate
James has over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry and started working as a QS in 1989. He commenced his career with a National M&E Contractor in the North of England. He has experience of Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education and Pharmaceutical projects valued from £10,000 to £10,000,000.
This experience has given him a wide ranging and detailed knowledge of the industry and specific skills in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management from estimating through to final account settlements. James has also worked as a Contracts Manager leading a Team of Engineers and QS as well as taking on an Operations Manager role within an offsite manufacturing facility.
James has experience of working with and Managing all Contracting departments from Business Development to Estimating through to final Project delivery and successful handover. He also has experience of strategic and business planning.

Owen Nee
Quantity Surveyor
Owen is a key part of our team working on projects for our clients carrying out QS services such as Applications for Payment, Change control, Progress Reporting, Payment Notices, Delay Notices and Final Account agreements. With his excellent communication skills, attention to detail and being able to work either as an individual or as part of a team to undertake specific tasks he is a valuable member of any team providing skills to support our business. Owen has worked on site alongside our client team members providing a site based QS resource for projects. This has given a valuable link between site and office for reporting commercial issues and allowing effective management of the works.
Owen has a BSC Honours in Quantity Surveying achieving a 2;1 grade. He is now working toward his RICS Accreditation which we are supporting with.
Phil Hutton
MEP COMMERCIAL MANAGER / MANAGING QS
Phil is a highly experienced MEP Commercial Manager / Managing QS with extensive background across client and contractor roles delivering optimal commercial outcomes. Any project that Phil is involved with he calls on his experience to help set strategy and undertake commercial tasks to achieve the very best for our clients. As a great communicator Phil is able to express and understand project requirements to project team members and put into place.
Phil is a mentor for our team members also passing on the experience he has and best practice methods. With experience from procurement, contract reviews and placement, change control, claim preparation and final account agreement Phil has the full circle of experience which is a great asset to any project he is involved with.
Callum Beattie
ASSISTANT MEP QS
Callum is currently studying for his Bsc Hons in Quantity Surveying at Leeds Beckett University which we are supporting him with. Working across a number of projects assisting with tasks such as measurement and scheduling of works, change control and logging of added works, record keeping, preparation of Payment Notices and pricing change Callum provides a very valuable resource to keep on top of commercial process and tasks.
Assisting our more senior team members on projects with a mix of both office and site based activities he is a valued member of our team bringing his enthusiastic and positive attitude to each task undertaken.
Harry Thornton
STUDENT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Currently working towards his degree in Quantity Surveying at Leeds Beckett University Harry is responsible and proactive in all the QS support roles he undertakes. A positive and friendly approach allows integration into any team he is part of. Working alongside all team members on our projects Harry carries out support tasks as required such as record keeping, taking off and costing. A key member of our team.
